User Experience
Using consistent terminology, clear headings, and descriptive labels can greatly improve the user experience on the Event Platform, making it clear to navigate. This clarity will make the Event Platform more intuitive and encourage deeper engagement with the content and features.
You should ensure clear and distinct headings are used across the different sections, ensuring the navigation headings are short and simple. Make sure that headings and labels clearly indicate what action is required or what users can expect to happen.

💡 Recommendation

Ensure the navigation labels are a maximum of two words.

You should use consistent terminology to avoid confusion and ensure users can quickly and easily navigate around the Event Platform. When different terms are used for the same thing, or the differences aren’t clear, it can confuse users (e.g. "visitors" vs "attendees”). You should stick to one term for each concept to improve clarity and enhance the user experience.
To ensure consistency, you should use the below labels to refer to different sections of the Event Platform, whether this is in the navigation, filters or the CTAs:
Referring to a user’s digital badge for the event they are attending
Showing the companies that are exhibiting at the event
An updated name for the ‘Exhibitor Centre’, where users can manage anything to do with their company (e.g. ‘team members’)
Referring to the new AI feature within the main navigation
You should avoid duplicating headings, navigation items, or filters across the Event Platform. Duplication can create confusion for users and make it harder for them to navigate or locate relevant information efficiently.
